WE BUY SURPLUS CABLE FROM SELLERS IN WATFORD CITY, ND

A commercial build-out in Watford City rarely finishes with an empty wire rack. The last tenant change leaves a coil of MC, a part reel of SER, and a box of #12 that got opened for one circuit and never closed again. The rack does not get cleared until somebody needs the space, and then it happens in one afternoon.

Then there is the field side. Disposal sites, gas processing, and water transfer stations all run on cable that gets replaced before it wears out, because a rebuild happens around it. Sellers in Watford City send us both kinds of material, and we treat them as two separate reviews rather than one.

Build-out material from commercial work

Commercial leftovers are mostly small and medium: MC in six-foot pieces, THHN in three colors, SER for a panel that moved, and fire-alarm cable on a spool with a few hundred feet gone. It is worth describing all of it in one message, sorted by type. Fire-alarm cable is the item most often overlooked, because a partial spool looks like nothing and then turns out to be several hundred feet.

Packaging makes the difference. Coils that are taped and labeled by size take ten minutes to review. A tote bag of loose cut lengths takes an afternoon and usually ends with an estimate instead of a number.

Cable from disposal and processing sites

Site cable is heavier and dirtier. Tray cable pulled from a rack, control cable from a panel that got upgraded, and medium-voltage runs that were cut out rather than disconnected. Expect mud, expect cut ends, and expect the footage to be approximate. The clean end came off a lug. The ragged end was cut. Say which is which.

That is fine. Approximate is workable if the construction is clear. Three conductor 2/0 with a ground and a 15kV rating is a describable item even when nobody knows the exact length, and the drum weight gets us close. Mud washes off. A jacket crushed under a skid steer does not, and that is the one detail that ends a review early. If the tag is gone, send a photo of the flange, where the stencil usually survives.

Loading and freight from Watford City

US-85 and ND-23 carry most freight here, and a flatbed is the practical choice for any drum over a few hundred pounds. LTL works for palletized cartons if the pickup point has a dock. Tell us the site conditions, since a gravel pad and a paved yard book different equipment.

Submitting sends your details and photos to saleselectricalbuyers@gmail.com. We review the material and reply with questions or a pricing conversation. Sending a request does not commit you to sell and does not guarantee a purchase.

Wire sitting in Watford City?

Send the reel count and a photo of the tags. If it loads with a forklift, say so — it changes the plan.
