THHN / THWN Building Wire
Stranded and solid copper building wire in every color, on full reels or the tail end of a partial.
Wire and cable categories
Eleven categories, one buying process. Find the construction closest to what is on your reel, then send the details and photos. Mixed lots are welcome — list what you have and we will sort it out.
Start here
If the legend is worn off, pick the closest category and say so in the description. We identify material from photos of the conductor, insulation and any legible print.
Stranded and solid copper building wire in every color, on full reels or the tail end of a partial.
Cross-linked polyethylene wire in copper or aluminum, 600V and 1000V, often dual marked for wet runs.
Metal clad and armored cable in coils and cut lengths, with the armor print and the ground path photographed.
TC, TC-ER and shielded drive cable on wooden reels, quoted from the jacket print and the tag.
Numbered multiconductor, shielded pairs, triads and thermocouple wire, quoted from the jacket print.
Bare, tinned and insulated copper in every construction, from grounding conductor to welding cable.
AA-8000 feeders, SEU and SER, URD and overhead line wire, reviewed by alloy, size and stranding.
SOOW, portable cord and flexible control cable in coils and cut lengths, described by the jacket print.
Rope stranded leads and reels from #6 through 4/0, judged on stranding and jacket condition.
Cat5e and Cat6, coax, fire alarm and plenum rated cable, bought in box lots and partial spools.
5kV through 69kV EPR and XLPE cable, shielded and concentric neutral, on reels and known cut lengths.
What a lot usually looks like
A single request often covers five or six constructions: a full reel of 2/0 THHN left from a service upgrade, two partial reels of 12/2 MC, a coil of #6 bare copper, a carton of 16/4 SOOW and one reel of 15kV cable that came off a cancelled feeder run. Send it as one submission with a photo of each reel tag.
We separate the material during review, so you do not need to catalog every foot. What helps is knowing which reels are full, which are partial, and roughly how much is on the partials.
Request a purchase quote
Photos and a few specs are enough to start. We will come back with questions or pricing, then agree on pickup or shipping.
Send the jacket photo and the reel tag. Identifying the construction is part of the review, not your job.
