What to have in front of you
The reel tags, a phone for photos, and a rough idea of the footage. If the wire is at a different site than your office, note the city and ZIP where it actually sits — that detail decides the freight.
If you have twenty reels and no idea what half of them are, send a wide photo of the pile and the tags you can read. A partial inventory is a normal submission.
