If the reel is steel, the weight is often stenciled on the flange.
Part spools of THHN and control cable follow the same rule. Size, insulation, conductor count, and an honest length. If the spool is half gone, say half gone rather than quoting the original label. Half a spool of #12 THHN is still a few hundred feet, which is a real quantity to somebody. Say whether the spool is plastic or wood, since a cracked plastic spool needs re-spooling before it ships.
Pad, pipeline and elevator material
Pad and pipeline work leaves shielded cable, control cable, and grounding conductor. Elevator work leaves motor leads and tray cable. Both leave portable cord, which is the item most often thrown out and most often still usable. Grounding conductor from pad work is often the only thing left in a conex, and it is worth collecting rather than discarding.
ND-40 runs into US-2 just outside town, so a single pallet or one drum is not a difficult shipment. Photograph what you have, tell us where it sits, and we will work out whether it moves on a pallet or a flatbed. Nothing here has to be consolidated with anything else before it moves.
