WE BUY SHOP AND SERVICE WIRE FROM SELLERS IN LINCOLN, ND
A shop building on an acreage outside Lincoln gets wired once, and whatever is left over is whatever the supplier would not take back. That usually means a part reel, a coil, and a box of odd cut lengths in the corner of the shop.
Most of what comes out of Lincoln comes from a garage or a barn rather than a warehouse. The material is honest but it needs describing: a reel of #2 URD with the last fifty feet cut off, a coil of #6 bare copper used for grounding, THHN in three colors from a subpanel. Nothing exotic, and all of it usable.
Service laterals and shop subpanels
A shop subpanel takes SER or a buried feeder, and the buried feeder is where the leftover comes from. Direct-burial aluminum in 2/0 and 4/0 is bought by the foot and sold by the reel, so the arithmetic rarely lands on zero. The tag on the flange says what the full length was, which makes the remainder easy to state.
Inside the shop, the wire is THHN in conduit, mostly #12 and #10 with a few #8 runs for a welder or a compressor circuit. If the conduit is already in the wall, the wire that came out of it is short. Say so and give the lengths.
Well circuits and outbuildings
Submersible pump cable comes in flat and round constructions, and the flat style gets cut close to the wellhead. A coil of three-wire pump cable with a ground is the sort of thing that sits on a shelf for years. Gauge and conductor count are enough to start with. The ground conductor is often one size smaller than the hot legs, which is worth confirming before you quote a gauge.
Outbuildings run on UF and on low-voltage cable for gates and lighting. Low-voltage is small material, but a full spool is still a full spool. Group it by type and send one photo of the whole shelf. A length of UF that has been in a barn for a decade will have a jacket stiff enough to crack when it bends. Test a bend before you photograph it.

Loading and freight from Lincoln
Lincoln loads from driveways, so coils and single reels are the usual shape of a pickup. We buy from sellers along US-83, which is the route out, and a liftgate trailer handles most of it. Tell us if a reel has to be rolled down a barn aisle rather than lifted at a dock.
